My metalwork and mixed media designs are inspired from a wide variety of sources.... an antique brass spoon, a coconut shell button, the type bars of an old typewriter, a gondola ride over a river, the last moments of a sunset, lava stones on a sandy beach, a late autumn zinnia, a dragonfly on a porch screen, a lost feather floating on the sea...

My work is not designed to imitate these sources of inspiration, but to honor their shape, color, and beauty, as well as their mystery and story.
